falconwood park 🎉

Nestled on more than 200 acres in Bellevue, Nebraska (just 10 minutes south of downtown Omaha), Falconwood Park is a family-owned and operated venue that combines rustic charm and modern versatility.

Once known as Sokol Park, the property was re-imagined under the ownership of the Miller family starting in 2016, and today offers beautifully shaded green spaces, updated campgrounds, and plenty of character.

The name “Falconwood” draws inspiration from the endangered Peregrine Falcon native to the region’s Lower Platte River Valley and reflects both the woods on the property and the translation of “Sokol” (Czech for “falcon”). The venue acknowledges its place on traditional Otoe nation lands and honours that heritage.

Today, Falconwood Park hosts weddings, concerts, drive-in movies, and other special events — boasting over 140 weddings a year, making it one of the most sought-after outdoor locations in the area. Whether you’re planning an intimate woodland ceremony or a lively celebration under the stars, this venue offers a unique mix of nature, history and celebratory spirit — perfect for creating lasting memories.
